Aramco Stadium — Al Khobar

Aramco Stadium is a new-generation arena in Al Khobar on Saudi Arabia's Gulf coast, seating around 45,000. As the tournament's venue in the Eastern Province, it brings the AFC Asian Cup 2027 to the east of the country with a purpose-built modern ground designed to a contemporary international standard.

Built as part of the recent wave of stadium development in the Kingdom, the arena pairs a large, enclosed seating bowl with modern facilities and production. Its capacity makes it capable of hosting significant fixtures, giving the east coast a substantial stage in the tournament.

The stadium sits in North Khobar, near the meeting of King Saud Bin Abdulaziz Road and King Fahd Road, part of the Dammam–Khobar–Dhahran metropolitan area on the Arabian Gulf. Al Khobar is known for its waterfront corniche and its proximity to Bahrain across the King Fahd Causeway, giving the venue a distinctly coastal, cross-border setting.

The Eastern Province is served by King Fahd International Airport, between Dammam and Al Khobar, placing the stadium within reach of arriving supporters from across the region.

Transport options:

• Taxi and ride-hailing — Careem, Uber and metered taxis operate across the Dammam–Khobar area; set the destination to Aramco Stadium and allow for queues after the match
• By car — the ground is reached via King Saud Bin Abdulaziz Road and King Fahd Road, with parking opened for major events; expect slower departures once a full house empties
• From Bahrain — the King Fahd Causeway links the island to the Al Khobar area by road, a route some visitors use for the coast
